Hand built pottery and clay sculpture for ages 10 and up*. 
Students are encouraged to bring their own ideas and we will assist them in the technical aspects of creating with clay. 
We'll assist young artists in expressing their ideas with clay, design, texture, and color in a wide variety of projects from functional pottery to decorative figures and characters. 
All students will recieve a sketchbook to jot down their ideas in between class meetings. 
 
The classes run on a four week schedule.

Classes are held by experienced, vetted, instructors who have taught in other studios and in public schools and have been fully background checked.
 
There are no make up classes or refunds for missed or late classes. Late pick up is not available as we run classes right after one  another. 
 
*PARENTS- If your child is under 10, or turning 10 soon, please call us to discuss enrolling.  The class is 1.5 hours long and students need to be self directed, attentive, and motivated to participate as well as responsible for cleaning up ALL of their tools, clay and workspace at the end of class. We have had students as young as 7 in class and sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. Understanding that each child is different, we do occasionally enroll kids under 10 years of age, but this is on a case by case basis. Thanks for understanding! The studio is geared toward independent learners.
